'lush, evocative songs... aggressively seductive post-punk... remarkable shape-shifting vocals' Eye Weekly The Recroom were a rock/indie trio featuring Sarah Felgemacher (Cry Wolf), Angel Valenciano (The BoneDevil, The Micronite Filters), and Jackie Game (Volcano Playground). In 2007 they were at the heart of Oshawa's talented music scene. Their debut release 'Wake Up The City' features catchy songs and soaring vocals wrapped in artfully rustic rock sounds. The album made waves at campus radio and garnered attention in local press. They shared the stage with the likes of USS, The Mark Inside, Bedouin Soundclash, Cuff the Duke, the Exchanges, and many more. In 2009 the members of the Recroom moved on to other projects, and Wake Up the City remains their only official release.
