The Psycs formed in 2005 and have spent that last few years putting their sound together in the great city of Peterborough. Coming from diverse musical influences, the Psycs create a sound that is a unique blend of heavy psychedelic, and alternative rock. They've focused on songwriting and live performances, incorporating a lot of improvisations into their sets. In April of 2008 they released a self-produced full-length album entitled "Psycho City " (DARKside studios). The album represents how cities can suck you in, chew you up, and spit you back out, leaving psychological scars that, either big or small, make a difference in your mind. They are very excited to unleash this album on the public, and they look forward to spreading it around psycho cities everywhere, including Toronto, Oshawa, Lindsay, Whitby, Ottawa, and beyond.
