Ron Warne is a folk-rock singer/songwriter who originally hails from Scarborough in the days when cool kids wore lumberjackets and Kodiaks. He hangs his plaid shirts in Newcastle now and reconnected with his creative side about five years ago when he met the Get Bent family.

Ron cares about the local music & arts scene and is committed to sustainability in all endeavours. Growing up he was surrounded by country twanging and family bonding. His musical influences cover a wide range and include Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, the early phase of Rock n' Roll and the current Durham & Peterborough scene. He takes a laid back view to pretty much everything and finds that most things turn out good enough in the end.
