Lady of the Valley began in 2007, although the band members have been playing music together, in many different capacities, for a long time. They write and perform with a fundamental lack of boundaries, and hope to make music people can sing, clap, mosh, and dance too all at the same time. Their sound is loud and harmonic - a blending of alternative, hardcore and ambient rock. Its been described as Botch and early Unwound meets Elliott Smith. Since forming in '07, they've played numerous shows around Ontario. Influences include Piebald, Sunny Day Real Estate, Elliott Smith, Saeita, and City of Caterpillar. the Buildings EP contains 4 songs recorded summer 2008 by the bent bros. LOTV are currently working on new material, and look forward to putting out a full album in 2009.
